The highlight of our open discussion was Drew’s “pi in a can.” Using the principle of a cantenna, he installed a Raspberry Pi inside a metal can. This combination allows him to connect to wifi networks from a greater distance.

Pat talked about the pros and cons of various file sharing methods. He included many proprietary and open source systems. Some of these can be installed and managed locally, while others are available as a service.
