What is Ubuntu? Are you talking about the installer? The resulting
operating system? The update tools? The tool you use to manage
users? The kernel? They're all separate projects, which may be
licensed differently.

There is no "License for the Ubuntu Linux Distribution" /per se/.
Most packages in its main repositories are repackaged from Debian
upstream. Tools that Canonical have built for Ubuntu may be GPL'd but
there are also tools that are open source that are included as
components of the operating system.

I'm sure you're just looking for a checkbox or quick answer to fill in
a spreadsheet, but the answer to your question is complex.

If you want to buy a Landscape (https://landscape.canonical.com/) to
manage your Ubuntu systems, that will include software and licensing
from Canonical that is in addition to the already mentioned licenses.
