This idea does not hold here. Ubuntu is a distribution of software. Sources
from various authors are build and redistributed as deb files. Proper deb
files include a LICENSE and/or COPYRIGHT file which generally extracted
under /usr/share/doc/ when you install the package.

Debian and Ubuntu allow the user to select what type of license should be
considered for installation. These are "main", "restricted", "partner",
"universe", "multiverse".
