Wait a minute. There's been a lot of outcry. You should have been on
the Debian-User mailing list 7-11/2014, and you would have seen outcry.

There are many, many more. Also, don't forget that Devuan is busy
ripping out systemd tenticles from the former Debian, and that Funtoo
has pledged never to incorporate systemd.

There's plenty of outcry. It's just hard to be heard above the big bux
megaphone used by Redhat.
