I know I am dropping in a little late to the thread

I have the treo 700p and having moved up from the 650p I will say the 700 is
currently the best treo I have ever used. The larger issues that have
plagued the 650 were fixed in the 700p, for me it was screen quality and
phone sound quality. The 700 does not feel as heavy as the 650 did. the 650
was a more metal type phone the 700p is more plastic. 700p browsing runs
rings around 650, the halting and rebooting ring of death after using the
browser for a while looks to have been fixed. Even the slot were the SD
card is places is better places so it does not pop out as much if its
bumped. I lost 2 SD cards on the 650 from it popping put if I would bump
the top of the phone. All the software that I used on the 650 works with no
issues on the 700 and it will sync fine with my Linux, Mac or windows
systems. The 650 had issues with Linux
