I tried RAM from another box and it still locked up and it also gave me the kernel panic. Im running a Lan Party NF2 MoBo and it looks like the BIOS is v6.00PG.
Thanks
Jack

I had this problem with a system and it turned out to be memory chips not seated. I reseated and never had a problem after.

I am having a prblom with my web server booting. At times when it trys to boot i get a "kernel panic - not syncing: fatal exception in interrupt". When it does boot it has a rather bad habit of locking up. I am running Mandravia
2007.1. Any ideas?
