Maybe, but I don't see how 64-bit will have much of an effect on that.

It all comes back to pr0n in the end (no pun intended:).
The scientists and engineers who create all these new advances in
computer technology can feel a real sense of professional satisfaction
and achievement, knowing that the products of their brilliance, ingenuity
and hard work will result in enabling users all over the world from
different nations and cultures to utilize more powerful, efficient and
robust ways to share porn.

Could be. Desktop PCs seem to be fading away in favor of laptops, which
are still needed, though, at this little place I like to call 'work'. ;)
Though there was an article recently about some businesses starting to
move back towards using dumb terminals, which I think is a great idea.
But for home use, the PC may very well be dying. But they won't disappear
anytime soon. Some people like to keep old stuff around. :)
