Presentation: Dr. Robert Meier installed an *HTTPS* static website on a bare linux box.

Presentation: Carl created a simple website to store and retrieve data from a database. This “LAMP” website demo included a brief mention of Linux, a quick session on Apache, an introduction to MySQL, and various web pages using PHP.

Presentation: We had several topics for discussion, including the use of projectors and planning for future topics for presentations.

Presentation: Pat gave a quick introduction to VirtualBox including some of the more advanced features. David gave a full presentation on OpenShift and how to better manage Docker containers.

Presentation: Dr. Bob presented an introduction to compiling on Linux. It covered the basics for beginners and included some history and trivia for all levels.

Presentation: Gib brought in a computer to test the installation of the Pivotal Cloud Foundry. We had a very interactive session as we discussed the latest version of Ubuntu, the upcoming Penguicon, and possible topics for future meetings.
