[mdlug] Spectrum tracert to Youtube times out

Yeah, the problem is that ping and traceroute will
very often give false negatives...that is they will
show problems where they don't exist.  The mail
reason is that icmp traffic is often limited or blocked
entirely.

So the way to find issues in tcp or udp connections
is to capture the network traffic and then analyze it.
Wireshark is a very good analyzer and it can capture
a connection, or it can analyze a capture created by
tcpdump.

Have fun.  It can be an adventure learning how to
do this.
