[mdlug] Voice Typing and/or dictation tools

For the Voice typing I decided to go to MicroCenter and buy one of those
$80.00 dollar laptops that
somebody emailed about.
Well I got good news and I got some bad news. I'll start with the bad news
first.
Talking with some of the staff at MicroCenter, the general consensus was do
not buy, mainly because they
have a habit of causing fires if they are plugged in.
And now the good news
There is no good news, it's all bad.
I ended up buying a MIcrosoft Surface with Windows 11SE installed.
I bought an open box for $80.00 dollars.
What I didn't know was that the SE means stripped down student edition.
There is no command line available.
It does not allow students  to install their own software for fear of
damaging the device. And the voice recognition
did not work, or maybe it worked but cortana just can't hear.
The other thing is it needs to be connected to the internet all the time.
With an internet connection it might
be a little more functional but I doubt it.
I am going to return this thing.

I would say more but I'm about to spontaneously combust.
