Here's a video showing how to use "voice typing" which
is more than just dictation.  It's provided by Google Docs,
so I'm guessing that it works in Linux and it does require
Chrome or Edge.

Incidentally, this seems to have a lot of the features
of the Win11 voice recognition.  I'll have to play with
both just to see what's available on other platforms.
