[mdlug] YT-DLP Problem

Is there anyone using yt-dlp to download YouTube videos?

Although I recognize that Youtube is a poor excuse for
a video sharing site, I will occasionally use yt-dlp
to download a documentary of interest.

But to my great surprise, yt-dlp failed with the following
(abbreviated) error:

"Unable to download API page: [Errno -3] Temporary
failure in name resolution (caused by TransportError...)"

This can't some fault on my system because other sites
like vimeo.com will download without problem.

Are others experiencing this problem with YouTube?
If so, it may mean that YouTube is attempting to
thwart free downloads again.

I have searched the web but found nothing similar
top my current problem.
