I have been trying to figure out a good way to correct a problem where a server doesn't resolve a domain name because the DNS server can't be reached. I'm considering the following: Add DNS server to hosts file Create a route with the route command Crate a host file entry for the actual domain I'm trying to resolve Telling the network team to look at this Thoughts?
