[mdlug] GIMP help needed

I have had no problem doing that with the current GIMP version. Have you
tried deleting the GIMP config file from your home directory? It might be
corrupt. It will be recrated the next time you run the program. It now
resides in the *.config* directory on my current system. Also, I find it
useful to use *XnView* as an adjunct to GIMP and as a pre-processor.
