[mdlug] Domain register/hosting sites

Question to the group

Anyone ever worked with 1&1 or hover.com for domain registration and
hosting?  I am looking get a site an would like some thoughts on one or
the other.  I have registered with networksolution but they seem to
lately nickle and dime you for things like private name registration so
I want to look into a different registrar for the new site. 

Its currently a toss up between them unless others can give other
registrars comments.
