[mdlug] Job scheduling reply

Many years ago (yes I am a dinosaur and proud of it) I automated all job
scheduling for Lear Corporation using the Autosys Job Scheduling tool.
Even back then this tool had the capabilities you need. Cost may be a
factor as I never knew what Lear paid. Last I heard from a job recruiter
was they are at version 12 of the product which should mean it is vastly
improved over the 4.5 version I was working with. B.T.W. when I told the
job recruiter the last version of the product I worked with they hung up
on me... I was just trying to be honest.

I searched and think this is the company now offering the product. I
also have many scripts that I can send you as template to automate and
monitor your job scheduling. Back then Autosys had its own JCL so I can
send those to you as well if they are still relevant.

This is the company formally known as Computer Associates. I cannot
vouch for their current product but many years ago this product was very
good at job scheduling.
