[mdlug] Serial port use to connect to a network switch - Ubuntu 14.04

Good old GNU screen works fine as well:
screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200
That's what I use to connect to the serial console of various boards via
a USB<->TTL serial cable. The screen man page has options for byte
length, flow control, etc under the section "WINDOW TYPES". To exit the
session, kill the window with 'Ctrl+a' then 'k'.
