Good Evening,  We are in the home stretch for our countdown now with only three weeks until the best weekend of the year.   We finished up our previews for our featured guests this week and looking at all of the post we have an amazing group of guests that will be joining us this year.   We also previewed more of our talented artists that will be in our Maker Market and looked at some of the programming that will be a part of our Web Comics track this year.   Coming up on April 12, we will have our last ConCom Meeting and Volunteer Bash.  You will be able to play carnival games for a chance to win geeky goodies, sign up to volunteer at con for a chance to win your badge, and playtest the most successful Kickstarter game of all time, Exploding Kittens.  The event will be held at the Westin with the Volunteer Bash starting at 3pm.   The next Linux User Group meeting will be on April 11, at the Dearborn Public Library, from noon to 2pm.  They will be featuring Penguicon and the open source medical records project.   Our hotel is now sold out other than a few suites.  If you would like to get a suite email hotel at penguicon.org because you can not book those rooms through the hotel website.  Also email hotel at penguicon.org if you would like to get on the waiting list for a room in the Westin.  You can also book at the overflow hotel The Holiday Inn Express.   We are still looking for a few room party hosts on Friday night.  If you would like to host a party, and we would love you to do that, email hotel at penguicon.org and fill out the special request form and the room party form.   Have a great week!
