   Job Description & Qualifications

   Position Duties:

   IT systems development support for Engineering data management
   systems for powertrain and vehicle engineering related systems,
   supporting verification & validation, benchmarking and attribute
   assessment studies. Will adopt the data standards, develop web services
   and enhance the ETL process for improving performance scalability of
   the globally deployed tools.
   Minimum Requirements:


     * 7+ years of overall IT experience
     * 5+ years IT experience in software development from design to
       implementation
     * 3+ years of engineering and Data Management System development,
       experience with data warehouse & BI
     * Experienced working in a Linux environment, Perl scripting, C/C++,
       Tomcat and web services
     * 5+ years of strong Java/J2EE and Javascript experience including
       webpage development for job monitoring and system health monitoring
     * 5+ years of experience w/Oracle and JDBC, Java Data Access Object

   Preferred Requirements:


     * Experience working in close collaboration with global Product
       development, testing teams and software vendors
     * Experience with Ford Java Framework
     * Comfortable working in Hex
     * Ability to coach and guide new team members (NA and Asia Pacific
       regions)
