[mdlug] Utity for verifying functionality of DVD drive.

If a foreign object is not stuck inside, the next mostly likely failure
point is a worn tray loader belt.  This belt is responsible for both moving
the tray and engaging the spindle.  If the belt is worn the tray will still
function but slippage will cause the spindle to fail to engage fully and
result in the disc being rejected.
