[mdlug] Composite Video to USB Capture Cables

Has anyone been successful using one of these cheap capture cables to work
in Linux? There are a few of these available in NewEgg and TigerDirect.
Basically, I wanted to convert some old VHS tapes to digital and possibly
burn DVDs,
