[mdlug] Steam on Linux

i'm in, thanks for the help.

i was having a frame of reference issue, i've used more srcds than
I've used with environmental variables.

after reading up on bashrc, i realized the walk thru meant source
~/.bashrc as a linux command instead of a source (steam) client
command. once i loaded the environmental variable, it worked.
