[mdlug] MS buying Skype

I also missed another bit...

The built-in version of MS Virtualfone will lack the ability to share video,
(Unless both OS versions for the parties involved the call are the same.)
because who the hell needs that anyway (If they aren't running the latest MS
OS)?

I say this because of the Virtual PC that comes built-in with Windows 7 Pro.
Sure, you can take the Virtual Machine you built running FreeDOS and boot it
and even use applications on it in the new VPC software... BUT, don't even
think you will be able to access a shared folder on your Windows PC, that's
just for the "Windows XP Mode" Virtual Machine...

You have to go 3rd party to get actual features that used to exist in a
robust fashion under Virtual PC.

Just thinking about this level of stupid out of that company just pisses me
off.

At least Oracle... (Which is really damned odd) is being friendly with
Virtual Box.
