[mdlug] exim or postfix, and why?

I can't speak to exim, but postfix is purposely built to have a sendmail configuration "flavor".
That may be an important consideration given your experience with sendmail.

Thankfully, however, postfix config files are simple text. No need for m4, et. al.

Cheers, Mike

Subject: [mdlug] exim or postfix, and why?

I've been using sendmail exclusively for the MTA on
servers and workstations. Now I'm setting up a new
workstation and thinking of trying something new.

So I'm looking for feedback...exim or postfix, and why?

c
