[mdlug] exim or postfix, and why?

Exim. Not sure if it's actually the "default" on Debian, but it seemed like
the easiest one when I switched from Sendmail several years ago, and it's
been quite stable (on 14-year-old hardware) and sufficiently configurable
for my needs. On satellite systems, I typically use SSMTP or nullmailer.
