Aaron,

If you want a fixed IP, do what many of us do, and go to one of those
dynamic DNS services. They'll provide you with a DNS listing for about
15.00 per year. Then, all you do, is have your router communicate with
it so your most current IP address is kept up to date in your listing.
Most routers have this as an option.
