 Warning: after about 10 years, our DV camcorder (the older Digital-8
format, DV video on Hi8 tapes) has failed. It no longer reliably reads
tapes. We borrowed a neighbor's camcorder for my recent bulk DV
conversion. The tapes themselves, of course, were still quite readable.
