Back to Open Office, when it runs into trouble are the JAVA resources an issue?

15 asks nicely.  9 doesn't.

KDE should have a graphical process monitor of some sort that you
could use to kill it instead.  On Ubuntu with Gnome it's System >
Administration > System Monitor > Processes.
