Microsoft won't go away, and they'll still be a big company. IBM owned
the 1970's and 1980's, then Microsoft took over from 1990's to now. IBM
isn't gone, and still makes plenty of money, they just stand astride the
industry like a colossus. Microsoft is well on the way to joining them.

For now, it looks like Google is best-poised to become the next
colossus, but there's still *some* room for someone else to jump in. I
don't *think* Apple can do it now, but it's not completely
inconceivable.

 Sincerely,

 Ray Ingles (313) 227-2317
