I'm just wondering why software authors prefix J or tk in
front of apps written in java and tk, but we DON'T see
this sort of prefix the name with a letter signifying the
programming language for programs written in Fortran,
Basic (any variant), Pascal, C, C++, Lisp, Simula, perl, etc.

Why is it that this is standard procedure for Java and TK,
but not for any other language...either compile or interpreted?
