[mdlug] Boot log files

     Is there a log of commands, along with parameters, that got 
executed during
the boot process? (As distinct from the dmesg file, which contains 
the output from
these commands.) If not, can I get the system to make such a log?

     Specifically, I wish to find out what the boot process is doing 
to get my wireless
driver to find its firmware, that I am failing to do when I run 
insmod and modprobe
manually.
