usually desoldering/soldering.
Heat up the solder, and remove with solder-wick (basically woven
metal wires which draw up solder the same way that a cotton
wick will draw up water or kerosene), until you can detach
the connection. Repeat on other lead.
Using electrical (rosin-core) solder (avoid ANY solder with
Bismuth in it, as the current solder could contain lead, and
Bismuth + Lead => extremely low melting point ( < 100 C)
