I've been happy with AT&T. I just upgraded to the Uvers 10Mpbs. The install techs seemed knowledgeable but a second install tech corrected a problem from the first. I'm left with a really odd set-up. My experience was that a poor scheduling back office procedure inconvenienced me twice (two days in a row I was given a time that differed from what the tech was told).
The next day after the install the battery on the battery back up failed. (Why would you make a battery back up not allow the device to work when you have power?) A call to the help desk was extremely poor quality support. The help desk person tried to go through a procedure without any understanding of the issue. She tried to connect up to the 2-Wire device when I told her that it had no power.

I second that about ATT, except that tech support is getting
more Linux friendly. The last problem I had over a year
ago;with getting mail; was solved after I refused to reboot.
