I use Verizon for now, they have two levels of data plans for
Blackberry's. One; which I have; is $30/month and the other is
$60/month in addition to the voice plan. I cannot tether and
Verizon's TOS explicitly forbids it for my plan. I cannot opt
out of these add ons, I must pay for one or the other. That's
to much for me to swallow on top of a $100/month voice plan.
What do they care what device I use for data, as long as I pay
for it? That's what appeals to me about this router/modem. I
can use any device I want. I should point out that Verizon
puts their own firmware on the handsets they sell, except for
smart phones. I gladly pay for
the extra to gain some functionality that they disable in their
other handsets. I will not be doing that much longer. I may get
one of these router/modems. I will certainly; from now on; never
	take one of their handsets. I will buy my handsets elsewhere;
to keep the functionality they program out; and possibly still
activate on their network. I've had it with being tied into one
or the other carrier. Verizon in particular intentionally
cripples the functionality of the handsets they sell, so they
can sell you add ons. I would be very interested in your
	experiences with ATT.

Best Regards,
