[mdlug] Camcorder does not mount

Hello,

I have a new Panasonic camcorder with USB connection. When I connect it to my laptop running Windows, it mounts as a file system that can be browsed. When I connect it to the same laptop running Linux (SuSE 10.1, Kernel 2.6), it does not mount automatically and the camcorder display says 'connecting'. 'lsusb' does not show any new device.

Anything I can try to debug?
