I don't suspect you will have to wait much longer for that.  Oracle
is big into Linux.

zfs is great, btw.  I switched my home server to freebsd specifically
because of it.  I've been using it in production on one large solaris
system for a couple years and it's worked as advertised (although
to be honest i have not pushed it hard).

if you're a gnu/linux type but want ZFS enough to think about
changing the linux part, you might check out nexenta, which puts a
GNU userland on top of an opensolaris kernel.  Be aware that hardware
support is nowhere near as broad as that of linux, though.
