I had a copy on a floppy disk years ago when I worked for Motgomery wards A customer had problems I went to their house and ran diag. an found that the Serial port was bad. We swapped out the computer and I had happy customers, But history shows that That did not save the retailer.

But in that case, you had a known good CPU.

In this case, there's NO point in running diagnostics
on *ANYTHING* until you replace the partly heat-damaged
CPU -- because you can't trust ANYTHING produced by
a damaged CPU, not even a test for whether a single
bit is 1 or 0.
