Starting with version 4.5, Nokia moves the Qt toolkit to the LGPL: http://www.qtsoftware.com/about/news/lgpl-license-option-added-to-qt Though I don't do much Qt or KDE programming, I think this is a great move. I think this will make Qt replace GTK+ as the dominant GUI API in Linux. IMO, that's a good thing, for a variety of reasons. Michael
