www.Top500.org is a site that I visit from time to time and you will find that Linux has by far the most entries in the top 500 fastest computers.
The chip that powers is the PowerXcell 8i http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cell_(microprocessor).
I still have not found a street proce for the chip, LOL
