[mdlug] knoppix does not see the hard disk on a laptop

Just one more piece of information. This laptop has Windows Vista and I could boot that in Knoppix and see the NTFS partitions. Recently it has been upgraded to windows 7? Is there a newer version of NTFS that Knoppix is having a problem with? The hard disk had also been replace on this machine with the upgrade.
