I teach the CIS-206 UNIX/Linux System Adminstration class at Washtenaw
Community College. It is an entry level class to SysAdmin. But next
term we will begin offering CIS-208 Advanced SysAdmin, where we will be
putting to use the skills learned in CIS-206.

Nearly every job I have ever held has been through 'networking' with
friends. And each job that I landed an interview for, resulted in getting
the job. And I have NEVER worked in the field my degree is in!!!

Confidence has a LOT to do with it :)

   Good luck,
