[mdlug] Recommendation for sound card.

After pulling my hair out on my wife's Open SUSE 11.1 and sound, I am ready to 
give up on the on-board sound card. (It is a new build with a MSI board with 
MCP61/ALC888 sound.) Now, sound is one thing that has given me hours of 
trouble in Linux. So for this PC, I just want the sound to work so my wife 
will stop bugging me about it. What is a good sound card for Linux that will 
not give me any problems? I don't want to plug in a new card and spend weeks 
trying to get it to work. All I need is simple 2 channel sound, so fancy 
stuff needed.
