I've been looking for a new long-term job since mid-January, and I was 
contacted by a Wipro recruiter and seriously considered joining them.  That's 
currently on hold because I think I have better opportunities elsewhere.  
They told me I would have to travel to India (at their expense,  but I would 
be paid only a very small stipend while there) for a three- or six-month 
training program before being reassigned somewhere in the U.S. at a pay-rate 
of about 20% less than what I was making at my last job.  

Their official PDF describing the program and position said the 
training-program was 3 months, but one of the recruiters repeatedly stated 
that it would be 6 months.  They also missed their first appointment to call 
me and administer a telephone technical interview. Based on my experience as 
a potential candidate, I don't consider them reliable enough to hire for 
anything!
