[mdlug] mpeg files from MythTV play w/o audio in PS3

R. Kannan and I have been messing around with the MythTV files for a while,
and I found some information which ultimately helped:
http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3media&thread.id=76624
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=617376
Basically, using the command
mythtranscode -i $IN_FILE -o $OUT_FILE -p autodetect -m -e dvd
...produced a file that the PS3 could play properly. But it's awfully large
(MPEG2 isn't all that efficient) so we're still looking for a way to transcode
them to mpeg4 or h264.
I found a couple scripts yesterday: http://divxenc.sourceforge.net/ and
http://h264enc.sourceforge.net/ - the first one claims to have a profile for
the ps3 specifically, but my test file didn't work. I'm going to do some more
testing and perhaps contact the author - there *should* be a way to do this,
and I've had success with other movie files.
Sincerely,
