 I'm sorceror171, but I don't haven't paired my bluetooth headset with the
PS3 yet. I'm more of a target than an actual online gamer. :->

Well, I set up "MediaTomb" (Microsoft has "Media Home" :-> ) on my Ubuntu
box, and it can stream files to the PS3. A lot of my videos aren't in a
format the PS3 likes, but the ones it *can* play are upscaled well. It can
play my whole library of MP3 files, and we can look at all our digital
photos, too.

But it's *slow*. My PS3 seems to have real trouble with the wifi connection
in our house. It takes up to 30 seconds for it to buffer enough of an mp3
or video to start playing it, though it generally doesn't have problems
after that. I've mostly eliminated channels and other interference, so I
think I'll be flashing my Linksys router with DD-WRT or Tomato. Anyone
have recommendations on that score?

 Sincerely,

 Ray Ingles (313) 227-2317
