I used a video bitrate of 2048 and I was successfully able to create the file. 'file' command on the file returns
test3.avi: RIFF (little-endian) data, AVI, 1280 x 720, >30 fps, video: DivX 4, audio: MPEG-1 Layer 3 (stereo, 48000 Hz)
But PS3 could not play this format eithee. It recognized the file but as DIVX but when I tried to play the file, it just said 'Data unsupported' and after that it shows up the file as 'Unsupported Data' :-( I even tried changing the extension as mpg with no luck.
