[mdlug] Postfix question

look at master.cf and confirm that the machine is running smtpd.
master.cf is kind of like an inetd.conf for postfix.

also, look at main.cf and make sure that there's no obvious "listen only
on localhost" type thing.  
main.cf is the primary config file.

Once you get used to postfix you won't rush back to sendmail.
