My wife looked carefully at the dongle's plug (the one that plugs into the 
card) and noticed that the plastic had cracked on one side.  The place where 
I originally bought the card is still selling them for $9.99 each, so I 
ordered a replacement.  I'm using a USB Ethernet adapter until that arrives.
