[mdlug] Problems with upgrade?

Of course, you assumed I had an LCD. Those cost $ so I don't have one. Every
component of my machine is at least 10 years old. Which is the real reason I
run Linux, and Xubuntu specifically. (I actually prefer the look feel, and
functionality of Mandriva, but XFCE is designed to be less intensive).

Anyway, when I told it to upgrade I never put in my password, so it never
started, and apparently it just gave up, when I rebooted everything was fine
and I had a note that the upgrade hadn't started.

I've always been hesitant about upgrades, you know the old "If it ain't
broke don't fix it." But all the forums I read say with Linux its incredibly
important  to stay as up to date as possible.
