[mdlug] Future of Alpine/UW-imapd

I just heard about this today:

The Univ. of Washington laid off most of the Alpine development staff
back in May. It's not clear what will happen to Alpine or UW-imapd.
I'll keep using Alpine as my mail client no matter what, but as a
long-time Pine/Alpine user, it's sad to hear what happened.
